The Entropy Change Argon in a non-isothermal process expansion.

Ohhhh It's suddenly clicked! I was assuming it was isobaric even though the question doesn't actually suggest it is... Wow I feel stupid =p Cheers for your help

The Entropy Change Argon in a non-isothermal process expansion.

Except you get different values of n at the two different values of temperature and corresponding volume. So you can't assume ideality...

The Entropy Change Argon in a non-isothermal process expansion.

Homework Statement a) Calculate the entropy change when Argon, at 25oC and 0.101 MPa pressure, in a container of volume 0.5 litre is allowed to expand to 1.0 litre and is simultaneously heated to 100oC. b) Calculate the entropy change when the same initial sample is compressed to 0.05 litre and...

Find the Value of h for Sin(x) Approximation

I agree, I've done it with n = 6 but the principles the same. You guys done the 3rd question? And if so, how?

Find the Value of h for Sin(x) Approximation

That certainly works since the difference in sin(x) and your T(x)with your x value is 9.16x10^-6 How did you get this answer?

What is the upper envelope of the family of ballistic curves?

Ahhh crap, it is aswell. Stupidly canceled the ones forgettin bout the over 2 part. Well that's a mark thrown away, lol

What is the upper envelope of the family of ballistic curves?

Am I right in thinking you then have to sub the a=1/x back into the original y to get, y=F(x)=(1/2) x^2 and mathmathmad your a warwick student right?
