Glass Thermal Energy: Solid Glass Beam w/ Spiral Column
That's along the lines I was thinking it condensing the refrigerant, could it be strong enough to be a structural part of a building ? solar thermal properties if cold and if hot cooling? Thank you all for your time- boyband

Glass Thermal Energy: Solid Glass Beam w/ Spiral Column
Russ ,Thats the point? the fact that a ground source heat pump takes the constant temp of the loop buried to 1-2 metres ? The glass would radiate heat out and be colder@ core(10c-12c) they would be very heavy but would it be possible to produce warm water from this technology?- boyband

Glass Thermal Energy: Solid Glass Beam w/ Spiral Column
Yes I was thinking of spiral void that the refrigerant could travel. I though if you put a metal "spring" in and poured the melted glass over the spring with say Aluminium(or some metal that got a closer melting point to glass) so it forms a spiral void ?Is It possible? You would need a form to...- boyband

Glass Thermal Energy: Solid Glass Beam w/ Spiral Column
Could I put this on here for answers please ? If produced a solid glass beam with a spiral column thorough the middle of it would the core be hotter or cooler than the surrounding air? If colder could it be use in conjunction with ground source technology to produce hot water? I not sure how to...- boyband

Why isn't copper used for surfaces in hospitals?
If you had a flying saucer shaped disc that came into contact with gaming chips would this be a viable product to kill microbes/bacteria the gaming chips would be in a tumbler with constant replacement on a roulette table?- boyband

Why isn't copper used for surfaces in hospitals?
I work in a casino and the idea of this thread was to see if you introduced a cooper disc in the chipping machine would it be effective on microbe/bacteria?? I the disc was concaved flying saucer shape it would move between the chips and wouldn't connect with the belt. I'm just trying to find...- boyband

Why doesn't Elon Musk build his Hyperloop tunnels in our canals?
In England we have canal's that have being dug in the straightest line between 2 points to a standard deep Mister Musk has the boring company to build tunnel's why does he buy the canal's in England and cover them so he can prove his hyperloop cheaper than constant drilling?- boyband

Could steam cars be possible in the 2020s?
same argument as hydrogen scared of tanks rupturing petrol is just dangerous, flammable yet we drive round everyday What temperature can be produced outside of nuclear i.e geo-thermal heated, solar or wind? definite mirror array's in hotter/sunnier countries?- boyband
