Can't find formula of a serie.
Thanks Hogger and Mark44. I think you got it ! I needed the formula of the serie to figure out if it converge or not. Substracting 1/2 from it made me remember about this theorem from the book: "Convergence or divergence of a serie is not affected by adding or substracting a finite...- bundleguide

Can't find formula of a serie.
A problem from my old Calculus book I can't solve... Homework Statement Find the formula of this serie knowing its first five terms: 1 +\left(\frac{2}{5}\right)^{2} +\left(\frac{3}{8}\right)^{3} +\left(\frac{4}{11}\right)^{4} +\left(\frac{5}{14}\right)^{5} + \cdots 2. Relevant...- bundleguide

Stuck on a limit calculation problem from my 20 years old Calculus 2 book.
Hi again ! I don't think its really usefull to post my attempt at calculating this with Hospital's rule since the problem is that it gets very long and I hoped there was a way to simplify the formula somehow before calculating the limit or something like that. I don't remember about Taylor...- bundleguide

Stuck on a limit calculation problem from my 20 years old Calculus 2 book.
Hi everyone ! I got the weird idea of revisiting my old math books from 20 years ago and I got stuck on an problem that is probably super easy for most of you. It's from the chapter where we learn about how to solve limits of the form 0^0, \infty^0, 1^\infty by transforming an...- bundleguide
