Which school for master's in EE and related career questions
I am a student of all things mechanical and electrical. I love to build things. Anything and everything. More than anything, though, I love electricity. I love everything about it. I would like to continue a lot of Tesla's research in my lifetime, actually. I am currently on my way to a degree...- Capt_Jet23

Graduate Ideas about black holes, light, and time.
Alright, so I'm kinda new to posting here, sorry if I don't understand things fully at this time. As for questions, I have a few of them. Firstly, what is the force of gravity at the event horizon of a black hole. Since photons have no mass, what would be the force required to trap it...- Capt_Jet23

Where to Go for College Physics: Quantum Mechanics & Nuclear Engineering
I've visited different schools around the state, but frankly...Alabama SUCKS as far as schools go. Auburn is the best school in the state, and they don't have much as far as experimental physics goes. I am still a Jr. in high school, and so far, I'm thinking about attending MIT until i can get a...- Capt_Jet23

Why bother becoming a physicist?
Let me answer that question with another of my own: "Why not?" Do you REALLY have anything better to do with your life, however short it may be? I mean, REALLY? I see nothing better to do with MY life. It's better than being bored to death at some office job that you answer the phone all day...- Capt_Jet23

Advice on College Transfer from UNSW to USA
If there's not any way you can stay where you are, then you should most likely do exactly what the previous suggestion stated (assuming you don't already have the credits). My advice to you, however, is to try to stay exactly where you are, especially if you don't adapt well. if you follow the...- Capt_Jet23

Where to Go for College Physics: Quantum Mechanics & Nuclear Engineering
Hi. I posted a while ago about this, but nobody seemed to want to help me. Now I'm hoping someone will find it in their heart to help me out a bit here. I want to go into Physics. Pretty much any experimental physics would be good for me. I am very good at math, and I have a certain passion for...- Capt_Jet23
