Undergrad Solving Differential Equation (dz/dt) + e^(t+z) = 0 with Arbitrary Constant C
I have to solve the differential equation and let C represent an arbitrary constant. (dz/dt)+e^(t+z)=0 I can't seem to figure it out i wind up getting z=-2e^(t^2)+e^(C)- cgward

Calculating Center of Mass Velocity for Two 30 kg Masses | Find v in m/s
1. Two 30 kg masses have velocities (in m/s) of v 1 = 14 i - 18 j and v 2 = - 28 i + 14 j. Determine the velocity of the center of mass of the system. I am having a problem on how to set the problem up to find the velocity in terms of v= i and j- cgward

Spring constant and maximum acceleration
What should be the spring constant k of a spring designed to bring a 1150 kg car to rest from a speed of 99 km/h so that the occupants undergo a maximum acceleration of 5.0 g? I am unsure of the formula to find the spring constant by determining a maximum acceleration of 5 g- cgward
