Undergrad Measure Resistivity in Brick Using Lab Equipment
A themocouple measures very high temperature. are you doing the resistance of a brick experiement for OCR planning? I am, and I'm using a thermocouple 4 it. What i don't know is what voltage to use. Any ideas? Thanks.- Chirpy Chick

Undergrad Measuring Brick Temp: Thermocouple/Pyrometer & Microammeter
I'm doing the same thing. What voltage are you using, and how have you connected the wires to the brick? I was thinking metal plates on either face of the brick, but I dunno. I'm using a thermocouple with probe and measuring device, but I'm not sure where to put it on the brick yet. And another...- Chirpy Chick

High School How Does the Resistance of a Brick Change with Temperature?
Voltages Does anyone have a clue what voltage to use? I know it must be high, but it's still got to be practical. How can I get such a high voltage anyway?- Chirpy Chick

High School How Does the Resistance of a Brick Change with Temperature?
I need help, quick! I've got the same question, and less than a week to do it. How have you connected wires to the brick faces? Is a kiln allowed to heat the brick, or is only standard lab equip allowed. If it is only standard equip, then how do you hear the brick EVENLY with a bunsen? Will the...- Chirpy Chick
