Ok good idea, I'll take a look into it! There's still a chance I could get into university this year (replacing no-shows etc.) but if that doesn't work I'm going to have to get some work experience or something which will benefit me more than just a normal job in the long run. Engineering Mathematics by K A Stroud and Dexter J Booth? I found the 6th edition (from 2007) for £30 on Amazon, will get that then if you recommend it.
