What is the Sum of Two Irrational Numbers?
I have a question. I realize that two rational numbers added together equal a rational number and that a rational added to a irrational equal a irrational number; but how do I show what a irrational plus a irrational equal?- CollectiveRocker

Proving Prime Numbers Greater Than 5 are Sums of 3 Primes
The problem doesn't say whether all primes have to be different. HOwever, your solutoin will not work. An exam[ple of why is in the case of x=6, 6+3 = 9, and 9 is not a prime number.- CollectiveRocker

Proving Prime Numbers Greater Than 5 are Sums of 3 Primes
I've been going over this on paper for a while now, so I was wondering if maybe you guys would be able to point me in the right direction. We're supposed to prove that if every even natural number greater than 2 is the sum of two primes, than every odd number greater than 5 is the sum of 3...- CollectiveRocker
