High School What Are Solutions for Universal Linear Recursions?
It seems these are solutions for a particular recursion, what I have supplied is a universal formula for all positive linear recursions.- coolul007

High School What Are Solutions for Universal Linear Recursions?
I haven't got a clue how to prove my formulas, they are correct. My aha moment was seeing the rep digits in the different bases. As for the reals, I'm a positive integer kind of guy. I also looked to see if there was anything that may be useful for the 3N+1 conjecture. So far nothing. Thank you...- coolul007

Barrier to Flood Water: Is it Effective?
This has been bothering me for a year. I saw a news report outlining the potential of a flood coming down a street. The street was lined with plastic barricades filled with water to keep the flood waters from getting to the buildings on the street. It seemed to me that since the specific gravity...- coolul007

How to turn a weak acid into a strong acid
My experience is with large lead acid storage batteries kept at float voltage, therefore in a fully charged state. These batteries have see through cases allowing for views of any boiling or extreme chemical reactions. In maintaining proper electrolyte level no violent reactions were ever... -
How to turn a weak acid into a strong acid
For safety reasons we rinse acid spills with water and we add water to sulfuric acid in cars as well as any lead acid batteries used for backup power storage. -

Graduate Neutron Temp: Does It Apply to Subatomic Particles?
I didn't mean to be harsh, the implication is that, as understanding increases the previous teachings are invalidated. I'm 72 1/2 years old, so you can imagine the world, as well as the subatomic world has changed for me. I ask this question in relation to absolute zero, being the lack of...- coolul007

Graduate Neutron Temp: Does It Apply to Subatomic Particles?
I was thinking of temperature in the classic sense of atom versus subatomic particle. I have been lied to about atoms my whole life, so if I am way off base here I apologize. My understanding is the atoms increase "temperature" by absorbing photons. Therefore a rock that does not have kinetic...- coolul007

Graduate Neutron Temp: Does It Apply to Subatomic Particles?
Does temperature apply to subatomic particles, in particular the neutron? The question is prompted by the definition of absolute zero, being specific to atomic movement.- coolul007

Undergrad Magnetism and atomic structure
I mean does the absence of the magnet force effect the atomic/chemical structure. Would atoms exist without it? It seems to be a product of other forces(if that's the correct term)- coolul007

Undergrad Magnetism and atomic structure
Does atomic structure require a magnetic force? I understand that in the world of people it is most appreciated, however, it doesn't seem to have a purpose in the atomic structure.- coolul007
