Calculating distance of Mars from the Sun based on two elongations
I called the point E1 the point where Earth was at Feb,11 1990 and E2 at 30, Dec 1991, S for Sun and M for Mars and r for the Mars-Sun distance. Since we got a whole sidereal period between both alongation, I assumed Mars was on the same point in space (wrt Sun). I think I got the triangles...- danunicamp

Undergrad How Do You Integrate (dx/dt) dx in Physics Problems?
Good Night, Can someone please tell me how to do: ∫ b (dx/dt) ⋅ dx ? Like in the work done by a force which is proportional to the velocity (like drag). I tried to change dx to v dt but couldn´t go much further. Thank you in advance.- danunicamp

Help in infinite series problem
Homework Statement Prove that: [n+1 / n^2 + (n+1)^2 / n^3 + ... + (n+1)^n / n ^ (n+1) -> e-1 Homework Equations I have been trying it for couple of days. Tried to work the terms, natural log it all, use the byniomial theory but i can´t get to the right answer. The Attempt at a...- danunicamp
