I don't get it, how can light with no mass, or photons with no mass be affected by gravity? It is that gravity acts on all things including things with no mass?

so, f = ma, and f = -kx -bv. rearrange to the form of a differential equation. i am stuck when the next line simply states the general solution. i have done this for first differential only, not second derivatives. please help!
