Undergrad How do Radio Waves work when used for FM or AM Radio transmission?
I would like to know about radio waves used for FM or AM radio. I have read many articles that say, "The sound is encoded and rides on a carrier radio wave". How is that encoded? I am under the assumption that waves just have a frequency and wavelength and that is all. If a wave is transmitted...- DCLawrence00

High School Does gravity stop accelerating objects once they are in contact with
Thanks G01, that makes sense. That leads me to another question. Why aren't people greatly affected (physically) by the force of gravity and normal force acting on them at all times from opposite directions? Is it due to gravity being such a weak force?- DCLawrence00
