    Genetic Diseases from Inbreeding

My understanding is that since genetic diseases tend to be recessive, one is more likely to be paired with two of these recessive genes via inbreeding than outbreeding.

News WWII: Was It Worth It? Patrick J. Buchanan's Analysis

Actually, Buchanan simply believes in the concept of national sovereignty. He does not believe Americans have the right to invade another country just because we don't like their political system, anymore more than other countries' right to invade America because they dislike our system.

News WWII: Was It Worth It? Patrick J. Buchanan's Analysis

How does parents enduring hardships invalidate Buchanan's claim? Hows does parents being morally offended invalidate Buchanan's claim? What do you mean by "trash"? How does this invalidate Buchanan's claim?

News WWII: Was It Worth It? Patrick J. Buchanan's Analysis

What is your proof of this? If you say he was not voted in, how did he become President? The only way would be for him to have used military force to overthrow the previous President. Are not all governments, including the U.S.A., dictatorships, in that the government dictates laws...

News Was the USSR Truly The Evil Empire?

How can I answer this when you are using subjective terms like "evil"? What is "evil," anyone who has a different morality system than you? Can the Scientific Method be used to prove this?

News WWII: Was It Worth It? Patrick J. Buchanan's Analysis

How do you know that this is not true? By what mechanism did Hitler become President if he was not voted in? The current Pakistani president was never voted in, rather, the military overthrew the previous president and used force to support Musharif as king of Pakistan. Are you saying the...

News WWII: Was It Worth It? Patrick J. Buchanan's Analysis

Interesting article: Was WWII Worth It? For Stalin, yes by Patrick J. Buchanan In the Bush vs. Putin debate on World War II, Putin had far the more difficult assignment. Defending Russia's record in the "Great Patriotic War," the Russian president declared, "Our people not only...

News Purchasing Prescription Drugs from Canada

Personally, I don't even like the fact that doctors have to prescribe a drug for one to legally acquire it. Rather, I think seeing a physician should be optional but extremely highly recommended to avoid possible injury or death; but I don't think it should be legally required.

News Purchasing Prescription Drugs from Canada

But Canadian drugs are not faulty. Canada is not Mexico: it's a first world nation. All government approved Canadian drug companies are as good as American ones. Actually, compared to other first world countries, the American standards are lower: think of how animals are screened better for...

Moral Relativism: There are No Moral Absolutes

Interesting article I read a week ago: What You Can't Say January 2004 Have you ever seen an old photo of yourself and been embarrassed at the way you looked? Did we actually dress like that? We did. And we had no idea how silly we looked. It's the nature of fashion to be invisible, in...

News Purchasing Prescription Drugs from Canada

According to the FDA, this is technically illegal, but millions of Americans do it, and some state governments, and a Senator, subsidizes this practice. The FDA and George W. Bush falsely scare us by saying the drugs may be unsafe, but Canada is a First World country and everything is safe...

Why Do Some TV Shows Have Canned Laughter?

Are TV Shows Really "Funny"? Have you noticed that humans can't completely decide on their own if a tv show is funny and that they only think a certain event is funny when the producer of the show cues the live audience to laugh? We hear the fake laughter in the background, and only then we...
