Biology Is it a good idea to become ad-hoc prof for the money?
Thanks for the insight. I personally know an adjunct professor of ours from botany department and I've seen him struggle a lot with finance because of low pay, uncertainty and all that.- DrTherapist

Biology Is it a good idea to become ad-hoc prof for the money?
Yes sir, it is quite true. I am a bit confused. Sir, it might be a teaching position on contact basis, that is, not permanent. Since I am from Southeast Asia I don't think naming my exact country will be of any help. But I do not understand how could I tutor? Should I become an independent...- DrTherapist

Thank you. The Sommerfeld's lectures are individually cheap to buy, so that's a plus point. I will also look forward buying Pauli's books.- DrTherapist

Thank you. I did not know much about Feynman but now it is apparent that he was a brilliant physicist. I will make sure to look up his lectures on YouTube. I am feeling lucky that someone like Feynman existed and gave us a gift.- DrTherapist

Programs Can I Use My Chemistry Background for Research in Physics?
I am sorry I was unable to tell the big picture. After a year (when I get into the third year of my course) I'll have to select my primary subject. I've narrowed down to two subjects - Zoology and chemistry. I want to be either a life scientist or a physical scientist. If I choose the life...- DrTherapist

Programs Can I Use My Chemistry Background for Research in Physics?
I wonder why you're doubting something I said? Here my second semester exams are rolling in, and that means if I want to do physics, I'd have to get readmited to first year and do everything from scratch. Sounds scary to me. Thank you for guiding me. Chemical physics is definitely researched...- DrTherapist

Programs Can I Use My Chemistry Background for Research in Physics?
I absolutely love physical chemistry and I am content with it. Although I may never be able to explore other branches of physics (say, cosmology) I guess atomic physics will do. Quantum mechanics sounds absolutely interesting and I will have to do a lot of work before I can actually understand...- DrTherapist
