How Do You Calculate Velocity in Physics Problems?
for the angle you can convert it to degrees by multiplying it by 180/pi then take the sin of that and multiply it by 3.6 to find position vector j. for velocity it should be the original velocity for acceleration it is centripetal acceleration for force it is centripetal acceleration...- dumdum000333

How Do You Calculate Displacement from Town B to Town C?
if the question had stated that the plane went from b to a to c and asked for the distance traveled you would answer 33, but since it asked for displacement path traveled does not matter, only the straight distance from c to b- dumdum000333

How Do You Calculate Tension in a Cable and Hinge Force in a Beam System?
torque is equal to rXF where r is the distance from the point and f is the force acting at that distance. it should be known that only the force acting perpendicular to the distance affects torque hence the cross product. in the problem you have you have 2 downward masses(one at the center of...- dumdum000333

Moment of Inertia and two uniform disks
I have the same problem. I understand Tr=Ia/r (a/r=alpha) so you get mg-T= ma and T=Ia/r^2 so you get a=mg/(m+I/r^2), but when i put that a into sqrt(2h/a) i didn't get the right answer, perhaps I'm doing something wrong- dumdum000333

Angular Momentum of a system of particles
Homework Statement Two particles move in opposite directions along a straight line. Prticle 1 of mass m1 = 26kg at x1 = 23 m moves with a speed v1 = 43 m/s(to the right), while the particle 2 of mass m2 = 63 kg at x2= -22 m moves with a speed of -37 m/s(to the left). Given: Counter...- dumdum000333
