    Current in the primary coil of transformers used in rectifier circuits

    Can anyone please clarify if the current in the primary coil of the transformer follows V(s)I(s)=V(p)I(p) when i am trying to figure out the peak, surge and average current through the primary coil of a transformer in a full wave rectifier. Also, if it does, do I just use the peak voltage or...
