Is the answer for (3 + i) / (6 - i) correct?
1. Rationalize the numerator sqrt(5)+3/-4sqrt(7). (sqrt(5) + 3) / (-4)(sqrt(7)) = (sqrt(5) + 3)(sqrt(5) - 3) / (-4)(sqrt(7))(sqrt(5) - 3) = (5 - 9) / (-4)(sqrt(7))(sqrt(5) - 3) = -4 / (-4)(sqrt(7))(sqrt(5) - 3) = 1 / (sqrt(7))(sqrt(5) - 3) 2. Perform the operation. Write the answer...- elie_girl

Is 1/2ln(a+4)+ln(b)-5ln(c) equal to ln(b/(c^5(a+4)^(1/2)))?
So then (a+4)^1/2 should be the denominator?- elie_girl

Is 1/2ln(a+4)+ln(b)-5ln(c) equal to ln(b/(c^5(a+4)^(1/2)))?
1/2ln(a+4)+ln(b)-5ln(c) is the answer ln b/c^5(a+4)^1/2 ? I just need to know if this answer is right, and should the format of the equation look like that also? Because the Math palette I submit it in needs to have it a certain way or else it will mark it as wrong.- elie_girl

How to simplify a fraction with a square root in the numerator?
Rationalize the numerator sqrt(5)+3/-4sqrt(7) The answer I got for this was -(sqrt(5)+3*sqrt(7)/28) and it marked it as wrong.- elie_girl
