Undergrad Difference between Bragg and Laue Diffraction?
The Bragg condition considers lattice objects that are grouped in families of planes, and the incident radiation is specularly reflected. The Laue condition doesn't require the assumption of particular planes and spacings, and doesn't require that reflection be specular.- etmsni

Undergrad Difference between Bragg and Laue Diffraction?
Hi! I am confused about the difference between the Bragg and Laue Diffraction. It seems that both arrive at the same result, but the assumptions for both are different?- etmsni

Question about Particle in Grain Boundary
Actually, I would like to ask about the dislocation case too. What I originally meant was, could what occurs to dislocations also occur for grain boundaries? I'm not very clear on the concepts.- etmsni

Question about Particle in Grain Boundary
Why does the grain boundary cut directly through a particle, instead of looping around the particle's surface?- etmsni
