High School Physics online video courses and MOOCs?
For wave physics you can use the Science Olympiad website: https://www.soinc.org/crave-wave-b Although it's mostly based on the official SciOly rules it's also helpful for classes and independent studying.- EventHorizon

3D space interface to other dimensions
Imagine it this way: a race of flat beings were living inside a two-dimensional picture. Even if the picture was extremely beautiful and eye-catching, they could only see the world around them; in their eyes, everything was simply line segments of various lengths and thicknesses. When one...- EventHorizon

How noticeable is an interstellar spaceship in cruise?
When there is a cloud of interstellar dust, the trails of the ships would be noticeable if they are traveling at a fast enough speed.- EventHorizon

What Are Realistic Mid-Journey Disasters in Interstellar Travel?
I have some ideas: - Running out of fuel before reaching the next Jupiter-like planet for fuel. - Battles between spaceships (assuming multiple ships). - Meteor showers/difficulties - Objects that are out of the ordinary that the people on the ship detect.- EventHorizon

Realistic fast Interstellar Propulsion Methods
I was thinking that if you somehow "fold" the fabric of spacetime, you would get a lesser distance between two points and would take less time to go from one point to another. Just a random idea though.- EventHorizon

I am making an alien race and need help with their biology
According to the linked article, a couple of people in the past actually had golden blood. TL;DR Summary of Article: Golden blood is Rh-null blood (lacks all 61 of the possible antigens in the Rh system) and it is very dangerous to live with it especially since very few people have it. It is...- EventHorizon

Tidally-locked planets flipping around their axes
Mars's obliquity changes substantially on timescales of hundreds of thousands of millions of years. So if a planet like Mars has life, I think the life would have enough time to adapt to the changes- EventHorizon

3 Body Problem (upcoming TV series)
Yes, I have read both the Chinese and English versions of the novel (in chinese it's called 三体/Three Body). The series overall is pretty interesting as it incorporates many aspects of science into our daily lives and the characters themselves change quite a lot. The first part was kind of...- EventHorizon

Biology Which organs/parts of the body are only functional on glucose?
Apparently the brain mostly functions on glucose; it does not only function on glucose. It is dependent on it as a primary energy substrate but it also uses ketones such as AcAc; brain cells also need some amount of insulin in order to process glucose. On the other hand, erythrocytes depend on...- EventHorizon

High School Why isn't there an effort to name non-stellar celestial objects?
Probably because there is more effort on actually studying the stars than naming them, especially with more and more discoveries every day.- EventHorizon

High School Can anyone suggest a good website to buy astronomy equipment?
I know that some libraries do some solar eclipse sponsoring (I think the program is called SEAL), my public library has free solar eclipse glasses. They work out okay- EventHorizon

Undergrad Is the Sun's photosphere fluorescent?
I would guess that it's something about the Sun's abnormal behavior (sunspots, gravitational field, etc) but I may be wrong. Definitely not the corona because it is made of plasma. Could be solar wind interference or other still-not-understood phenomenon.- EventHorizon
