woops haha i was doing something wrong with my math i found x actally equal 5 and y= 2

yeah but it work for the 2nd equation what did i do wrong did i skip something?

so would equal -2 is what i got then i sustituted that into y=7-(-2) to get y =9. those would be my anwser correct?

well I'm not sure if I am correct but i multiplied the two numbers 2.4197*2.6955 = 6.522

Now to find the number of good that will maximize the profit i take h=-b/2a witch is -50/2(-1/9)= 225. I put the 225 in the equation for x like: R(225)=-1/9(225)^2+50(225)= 5626 and that's my maxium profit correct?
