Spherical mirror area according to the amount of light

Thanks Vidar, I didn't know about the 6 kW per square meter. That gives me some ideas. Maybe that information is better. ;) Can I read more about it somewhere? Can you give a link, please?

Spherical mirror area according to the amount of light

@Nugatory: I just want an equation. If there is one... The source is the Sun. The light varies depending on the weather. @Low-Q: I'm not sure about the terms, maybe you're right. I just want to use Sun light and to focus it.

Spherical mirror area according to the amount of light

Well, of course the quality of the mirror is very important, but I consider it would be used high quality mirrors. What bothers me most is is there an equation that defines the dependence between the area of the mirror and the amount of light in its focus point? If I want certain amount of...

Spherical mirror area according to the amount of light

Hello, I need some information about spherical mirrors that I can't find in internet or this forum. How to calculate the amount of light that is focused in the mirror's focus point depending on the mirror's area and the amount of light emited by the source? If that light is reflected by...

    High speed electric motors specifications

Hello, I'd like to ask if anyone could give me information or a link to web page where I can find some for the most advanced high speed electric motors used today in cutting machines - speed range, torque and etc. I tried to find searching in Google but I haven't found anything. If someone...

How Does Rotational Motion Affect Magnetic Fields Between Two Magnets?

Well, then it should be more correct to call it "armature reaction", I'm not sure. Whatever, thanks for the explanations, sophiecentaur!

How Does Rotational Motion Affect Magnetic Fields Between Two Magnets?

So the delay has an extremely small value! But you compare delay with the speed of light, not the speed of the magnetic field...? Isn't it a lot "slower"? (If the word "slower" is suitable at all... :) )

How Does Rotational Motion Affect Magnetic Fields Between Two Magnets?

Well, that means that there is a change in the field. That brings couple more questions: First, could you specify what you mean by "propagation of the change being limited to c"? Please, excuse me for that but I'm not neither a specialist, nor a native english. I couldn't undestand your...

How Does Rotational Motion Affect Magnetic Fields Between Two Magnets?

Thanks for the replay berkeman, I suppose you understood my question very well, I mean if the field is not influenced by the speed of the rotation, the inertia or anything else, it is o'kay for me. That's what I want. Just want to make sure that there isn't any law of physics that applies in...

How Does Rotational Motion Affect Magnetic Fields Between Two Magnets?

Hello, I'd like to ask how the magnetic field that flows between two magnets would change if we begin to rotate the magnets together? (I hope the image makes my question more clear.) Thanks

    Calculate an electric circuit power

Thanks vk6kro, If I understand you right that means the maximus current of the circuit equals the I1? So, the maximal parameters, if the circuit is loaded to its maximum, would be 3U and 1I, wouldn't it? Which is far less then the parameters if the curcuit is connected parallel or...

    Calculate an electric circuit power

What I get at the end is 4.I and 3.U, but as long as I know the power of the circiut equals P=U.I So, in parallel and consecutive circuit P=7.U.I, but in this case P=12.U.I, am I right? What is wrong?

    Calculate an electric circuit power

Thanks dlgoff, Really a picture speaks a thousand words. Obviously I've switched the definitions. The mistake is all mine. Anyway, what would be the result in the end if the batteries are connected as it is shown in the image I attached? All of them have the same parameters...
