Make a Resonant Electrostatic Water Capacitor
This is probably the best way to describe what I want to do. Please refrain from quips about blowing myself up and running cars on water -- this is purely experimental investigation and all I ask is that if you enjoy sharing your knowledge as a forum member then I gratefully accept. Make a Resonant Electrostatic Water Capacitor
Thanks for the reply. Yes 12V 5A does sound like DC because it is. It's pulsed DC, which activates the isolation transformer by collapsing the magnetic field - the trick is building a transformer that will completely saturate at high frequency. Any advice?- Farlander

Make a Resonant Electrostatic Water Capacitor
Hello Back again for another round of making the "resonant electrostatic water capacitor" aka water fuel cell aka hydrogen generator.kl The "instructions say to use a high impedance circuit, which pulses high voltage to the electrodes at a very finely adjustable rate. Two...- Farlander

How can current flow in A/C circuits?
How can current flow in A/C circuits!? Hello everyone! In alternating current circuits, such as the North American main power grid, voltage swings from 120V to -120V at a rate of 50-60 cycles per second, right? If that's true, than how can current ever reach the load?? It seems like the...- Farlander

Connecting the primary and secondary windings of transformer in series
Hey guys, You cannot connect the primary and secondary of a transformer "in series". The voltage boosting aspect of the transformer will not function. The secondary discharges an 'inducted' voltage based on the COLLAPSING MAGNETIC FIELD when the current to the primary coil is cut. THE...- Farlander

PWM 1Khz-500Khz Packet Pulsing w/ Gating
Happily -- the video above is the best summation of the desired waveform. The inventor calls it pulse packeting. A regular DC square wave is generated, with adjustable frequency AND pulse width[_-_-_-_-_]. Then, the signal can be gated, creating pulse trains with variable width...- Farlander

PWM 1Khz-500Khz Packet Pulsing w/ Gating
Thanks berekeman, That schematic looks good, could you explain what the q4-q7 are with the 9600, 4800, 2400 and 1200 next to them? Is the 2.4 mHz a maximum? I'm really at a loss about microcontrollers? if that's what this is, I'm guessing programmable via software and interface with usb...- Farlander

PWM 1Khz-500Khz Packet Pulsing w/ Gating
Hello everyone, First time posting here, thanks in advance to anyone who can help. I'm building an HHO generator, otherwise known as a water fuel cell, or high efficiency electrolyser. The concept is to separate water using a high voltage signal at resonance instead of current. What I...- Farlander
