Hi, Dublin can be a very expensive place to live, as has been said. But look at NUI Galway, or University College Cork. Cork is a lovely city, and well, Galways is always good craic. If you went north of the boarder, the only place to study physics or maths is Queens University, Belfast...

I am going into my final year of a 3 year degree in Dundalk. I got into year two because I have a HND in Electronics too. I think they just look at the content of the two courses, but the impression I got was as long as your maths was enough, you'd be ok. I mean, usually the hardcore topics...

You have University College Dublin, Trinity College Dublin, Dublin City University, then moving out of Dublin you have the National University of Ireland (NUI) at Maynooth, the NUI Galway and the Univeristy College Cork. Of these, Trinity is probably the best University, closely followed by UCD...

I would agree with this, I mean, if you are interested in the topic, you will enjoy it, work hard in the class and do well. So yea, do the the one that interests you more.
