(2,0,0) plane for simple cubic lattice
Hi UBY, Thank you! Your explanation makes sense. The alpha form of Polonium (Po) has a simple cubic crystal structure in a single atom basis. Does the plane (2,0,0) have a physical meaning for Polonium?- feiyangflash

(2,0,0) plane for simple cubic lattice
Hi All, Does the plane of miller index (2,0,0) exist in simple cubic lattice? It is easy to understand that (1,0,0) plane exist. But for (2,0,0) plane, I feel confused. If (2,0,0) plane exists, the plane intersect with the x-axis at 1/2*a, if a is the lattice constant; and the plane is...- feiyangflash

Vapor pressure of water (kinetics)
Thank you for the reply! I keep it for much longer time, so the equilibrium between the water vapor and liquid water is reached, and then I know how much water vapor there is in the mixed gas of hydrogen and water vapor.- feiyangflash

Vapor pressure of water (kinetics)
Hi All, I tried to collected hydrogen gas generated from the reaction between a metal and hydrochloric acid. I put a inverted conical flask in the water, and the generated H2 would push the water out of the flask, and then the H2 was collected. However, I guess there is water vapor mixed...- feiyangflash
