Order is mans biggest pitfall. Everything in our western society is concerned with order. It really boggles people when you tell them about chaos theory. hehe

absolutely great advice. when i first started taking calc i was getting help from 3 of my previous teachers. its weird because they enjoy it too, usually they haven't seen advanced problems in a few years.

my helpful sidebook would be Calculus Demystified. its very general and not too detailed at all, but it will defenitely give you a good overview.

i use a A Beautiful Mind while prepping for exams, works like a charm. The Core has some interesting physics and mathematical theories in the film. but they seem kinda out there, and only take up 10 minutes of the movie.

stop by waldenbooks, they have a bunch of books that will help. last time i went there they had everything from elementary mathematics to calculus and differential equations.

it all depends on you, my roommate is an electronics engineering major and i can't understand a damn thing in that book. if you switch, you might have to forget about 1/2 of your terminology. :confused:
