How would I go about finding the APF for a simple hexagonal unit cell. Which is a rectangle. I know one length is a0(HCP) but I cannot figure out the other side of the rectangle. Also, wouldn't the height be the c?

I was wondering what program most scientific papers's graphs are made in. They all look very uniform and while I know the typesetting is done mainly in latex, I have yet to find a program that produces graphs of similar caliber to that of papers. -jacob
