Graduate Fundamental Particle: Is It Possible?
Thank you for your responses, to give my question more direction I would like to ask you now, if there are experiments where matter (particles) are scattered in a wave diffraction pattern then why is it that physicists still consider these (particles) as particles with wave properties that come...- fotonios

Graduate Fundamental Particle: Is It Possible?
Ok the cern web page is nice but still I am not satisfied, they take it for granded that matter is made up of particles, which somehow are bulding blocks, which then makes it necessary to ultimately find a true fundamental particle, otherwise the whole concept of particles would be undermined...- fotonios

Graduate Fundamental Particle: Is It Possible?
I have a question that may seem kind of simple, but I would like to hear your thoughts about it. Is there such a thing as a fundamental particle of which all other particles are made of, or even if is even possible for such a thing to actually exist? A particle of continuous matter (no empty...- fotonios

Undergrad Bicycle Tire Question: Why Does Air Loss Affect Cycling Difficulty?
you got it! good thinking! and good and complete explanation...not just a dry answer. you should apply for cabridge...:) -

Undergrad Bicycle Tire Question: Why Does Air Loss Affect Cycling Difficulty?
the (point),(area...) of contact of the tire with the road is stationary...the tyre at that point does't move with respect to the road...so there is no point of discusing resistance due to friction.(so the greater area of contact is irrelevant in that respect). TRUE there is greater... -

Undergrad Bicycle Tire Question: Why Does Air Loss Affect Cycling Difficulty?
thats true...but its not by far the main reason of the huge difference in the effort u have to put into continue cycling. pls try again! -

Undergrad Bicycle Tire Question: Why Does Air Loss Affect Cycling Difficulty?
bicycle tires question... ok...heres a question that was given in the interview to a student who wanted to study physics at cabridge university. why when there is air loss in the tires of a bicycle(pressure decrease)...the bicycle becomes(heavier)?,meaning...harder to cycle. -

High School Can You Lift Yourself on a Pulley?
a helpfull note... just to add to my previous reply...don't confude internal forces of a system with exernal! the forse the person exerts on the platform..is always equal and in balnce with the force the platform exerts on him...its the external force of the (rope's end) that goes up to the... -

High School Can You Lift Yourself on a Pulley?
my opinion your description was a bit unclear... but i think it was because the question is a bit tricky...and the whole setup is a bit strange...not really because of your english...mine aint better either! now...lets imagine the system...the rope comes down from the roof, through the...
