Homework Statement
Not expected to do for Home work but i found the problem interesting. The problem is exactly as stated in Att. Homework Equations
Not sure:: d = C/pi?
The Attempt at a Solution
Really I don't see a systematic way of approaching this problem, but these are the ideas ...
I attempted the problem using a u - sub. Bare with me, my solution may not be correct, however here is my idea. I is integral sign
sub u = sqrt(x) .. The integral becomes 4 I u / u e^ u du = 4 I e ^ - u du. = 4 ( sinh( u) - cosh (u )) + K. Sub back and finish up.
EDIt:: That should be - 4 I...
Thanks no other questions. I could finish easily with 1/cos + K
EDIT: - int 1/u^2 = - int u ^ -2 = - ( - 1 / u) = 1/u since u = cos then 1/ cos + K follows.
Hey guys working on a problem for an assignment but my algebra is weak regrettably and I need some assistance.
Note:: I left the x and dx out for clarity.
