Can you answer this unanswerable question?
You know how when you see something small and then though science you are able to see smaller and smaller particles and you realize if you could cotinue to see you would see it just keeps getting smaller without end...Well apparently it works the other way as well.- full-time-climb

Is free will an emergent property of the human brain?
Could someone explain to me how we can experience a "present" event? I don't think is is phyisically possible. All the information coming in arrives after the event has occurred. We see and experience only the past. John- full-time-climb

Is free will an emergent property of the human brain?
A persons mind may exist in the present, but all of the information reaching it is from the past. We can observe nothing in the present as all information that reaches our senses is information about past events. John- full-time-climb

Is free will an emergent property of the human brain?
Could "free will" operate like a CD rom. There are many possible outcomes. We just get to choose one combination of events. John.- full-time-climb

How Do Mind and Body Interact in Dualism?
Cells do act without control coming from the brain. Let's just think back to before we had a brain. When we were just a single cell. Every cell new exactly what to do and when to do it. Even after we had developed a brain we still have systems of cells that do not require instruction from our...- full-time-climb

How Do Mind and Body Interact in Dualism?
One explanation is an intelligence at the cellular level. Each cell carries it’s own intelligence. Just watch a cut heal without you having to instruct it. We think our mind is in our brain because that’s where the most cells are. John- full-time-climb

News Flash Materialists Caught in Denial
We talk as though the universe exists in a random state. If Albert E has taught me anything it is that "the multiverse exists in perfect harmony." Therefore if chemo genesis is "it" then not to worry as it will reveil itself as did E=MC^2. In the mean time we need to cherish that "which is not"...- full-time-climb

News Flash Materialists Caught in Denial
How we did we focus this to a one horse race? How do we deal with those that would suggest that "Creation" is in this race? Help me understand how "Creation" is impossible. John "Canadian Idle"- full-time-climb

Philosophy: Should we eat meat?
Consuming animals at our current population levels is not serving us well. I would suggest anyone that has social concerns review a video called "Diet For A New America" by John Robbins. Very enlightening. John- full-time-climb

What is the relationship between extreme intelligence and perceived arrogance?
I wonder if the masses appear condescending to our seniors. I know that when I reach that age I will have had a very full life. I will have attained a great deal of knowledge. I also know that people will treat you like you are worthless. I seen an old guy on TV this week that was the test...- full-time-climb
