A question has 2 spheres of different diameters surrounding equal charges 'q'. Diameter of sphere A is smaller than diameter of sphere B. Now are the flux for both equal or not? I think they are equal because total flux = Qenclose/ epsilon-knot, so flux only depends on the charges. But then...
Sorry, the dc gain (K) is also given which is 100 V/V = 40dB, so it seems like the gain should be 40dB until w=w0 (omega = omega-knot), then the gain starts to attenuate at -20dB/dec. I'm not really good at reading the log graphs so does this mean depending on what your dc gain value is, it will...
One of the question asks to find the frequency at which the gain becomes 0dB for a low pass Single Time Constant circuit. In the solution manual after finding the 3dB frequency = 10^6, it states that since the gain falls off at a rate of -20dB/dec (see attatchment for graph) starting at...
Ok, unitiled1 the question asks to find expression for input resistance taking into account the finite open-loop gain A. And regarding untitled2, like i know that's the inside of an op-amp and that ideally the resistance is supposed to be infinite, and idealy V+ = V-, so how are you going to get...
Certain questions involve finding input resistance for circuits (e.g. inverting or non-inverting configuration). I know ideally the op-amp has infinite input resistance but i don't know how i would be able to calculate the input resistance for non-ideal circuits? Thank You.
Oh ok thanks for the advice. By the way do you know any good engineering forums where you can get those kinds of advice like the ones from alumni's? Because i don't think we have one. Thanks.
Between Digital and Analog electronics: I am interested in Digital Electronics and would tihnk its more useful than the course on Analog electronics, so is it worth taking the course on Analog electronics or should take another course instead?
No, I'm from Canada. We will soon have a sessions where the professors speak about courses etc. but i just wanted more insight before attending it. Specifically i was wondering if it would be better to take the core courses in the different areas or specialize in a few of the areas?
Thank you, that was very helpful. We are required to select pre-requisites (the underlined courses on attachment) in 4 different areas (excluding area 7) then 2 depth courses in the areas and 1 from area 7. Of course for the rest of the courses you can select what ever you want as long as you...
Hi, I'm new to this forum and I'm in need of advice regarding which engineering field to pursue. I'm currently in 2nd year doing my undergrad in ECE, and are required to select courses for 3rd and 4th year. I'm interested in both fields (computer or electrical engineering degree) therefore I'm...
