nothing is perfect
in the space where nothing exists
will one find perfection
the perfect nothing
time existed even though nothing changed and still it passed but nothing happened until something did and space was created making time relative to space...
...space then is something...
distances between objects increasing faster than the speed of light without the objects themselves moving
c'mon marcus that is a hell of a concept to try and wrap your head around...
the fact that the objects aren't moving apart at superluminal speed but that space is growing between them...
fair enough but surely it's no more messy than the actuality of distances between objects increasing faster than the speed of light without the objects themselves moving...
...and considering there is supposed to be a universal speed limit based on how fast light travels through space which...
...so its no more or less helpful than the raisin and balloon one. Care to explain why ?
watching cells divide would make for a better cartoon though. Theres just something about how they do that and how space is created which i find intriguing...
...like reconstituting matter from one...
that someone would be me and if anyone would be so kind as to feedback on my analogy it would be much appreciated...
...or would that be opening up a can of wormholes called 'units of space' ?
going back to the analogies...
...has anyone equated space expanding to a cell dividing ?
imagine a single red cell dividing in two. Those 2 red cells then split, but instead split into white cells and every division there after is also white, such that there are only ever 2 red cells. The...
Platinum Rule: Make it better than it was before you got there, but not because you are waiting for return.
...who's to say you made it better ?
I understand what you mean like 'the elves and the shoemaker' but I hate people messing with my stuff...
...down on my uncles farm the rule...
If i were religious I'd go with, god is omniscient ie can calculate all possibilites but uses free will to deny himself knowledge of any specific outcome unless he so chooses.
Adam and Eve as a parable for free will kinda proves that. God set up a test, knew what the possible outcomes would...
so no closer to a first cause then ?
How about rewinding back to the big bang and starting over again ? Would identical initial conditions dictate the same universe we see now ?
aww don't be like that JD. Of course I'm reading what you wrote. I just think you're wrong is all. Heres a dictionary definition of both words
predestination
noun
1. previous determination as if by destiny or fate
2. (theology) being determined in advance; especially the doctrine...
nah sorry JD i just don't buy that...
...of course anything predetermined is caused. Its caused by the godlike thing which acts in the form of the multiverse and determinism. Having opposite choices branch off to cause different effects in alternate universe means nothing is truly predestined...
