Hello all!
I have learned beta-keto acids are able to undergo carboxylation when subjected to heat. Do gamma-keto acids undergo decarboxylation when subjected to heat as well? If not, why?
I identified C as a gamma-keto acid. Do you agree?
Thank you for your help.
