    Inverter high cost vs low cost performance difference

    Some inverters are able to compensate for reactance in inductive loads. Many inverters are for resistive loads only. If you are testing a large inductive load, this may be the problem.

I'd imagine you'd have problems with the coil getting clogged with long, stringy pieces, but I think secondary blades, perpendicular to the coil might work for that.
