Undergrad Is Dark Matter Challenging Our Understanding of the Universe?
Nobody mentioned the idea that baryonic matter, being dense and all that with gravity well, may act as a lens for moving DM particle flow. Implications. Quick google-glance: https://arstechnica.com/science/2015/11/scientist-says-huge-clumps-of-dark-matter-may-lie-just-beyond-the-moon/ So, halo...- Ilythiiri

Undergrad Why does the expanding universe redshift light?
So, inflation itself has zero effect on (for example) CMB wavelength and it's shift to microwave can be explained only by evaluating frames of reference?- Ilythiiri

Undergrad What problems would 'black holes' not being formed solve?
I posted MECO link as argument against singularity, not event horizon. Mitra tries to explain BH interior - stuff inside even horizon. In this case neutron/strange star gains enough mass to form event horizon, then accretes some more, radiates away it's mass-energy(by gravitational interaction...- Ilythiiri

Undergrad What problems would 'black holes' not being formed solve?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetospheric_eternally_collapsing_object "...He argued that all proposed black holes are instead quasi-black holes rather than exact black holes and that during the gravitational collapse to a black hole, the entire mass energy and angular momentum of the...- Ilythiiri

High School Relative speed and time dilation
http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics/Relativity/SR/TwinParadox/twin_paradox.html This one was good enough for me, when i got a similar question as OP(time dilation/lightspeed but i was searching in BH context). Simple and comprehensive - prose, examples and pictures that is (: Quotes to prove...- Ilythiiri

Undergrad Thought experiment - water at the bottom of the sea
I've thought about saturation part. Water capacity for dissolved gasses considerably increases with pressure, but below sea level there's no source of nitrogen to saturate that increased capacity, only diffusion from surface layers. Any vertical mixing will decrease dissolved atmospheric gas... -
High School Adding a huge electric charge to a black hole?
I browsed through related discussions. So ... ... yeah. Okay then, my misunderstanding was that only object inside event horizon is considered BH. Read up about https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Membrane_paradigm and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Magnetospheric_eternally_collapsing_object Less...- Ilythiiri

High School Temperature of a black hole....observed from the singularity
Related to your question "what's the deal with time at relativistic speeds?". http://math.ucr.edu/home/baez/physics/Relativity/SR/TwinParadox/twin_paradox.html Read up on this, it's not long and clearly written. How liquid are bitcoins and other crypto-currencies?
Now you're talking monetary theory, not investment or cryptocurrencies. Check out this book - Debt: The First 5000 Years by D.Graeber, it's a difficult one - only bibliography list is ~100 pages - but rewarding. https://libcom.org/files/__Debt__The_First_5_000_Years.pdf Some random quotes from...- Ilythiiri

High School Temperature of a black hole....observed from the singularity
Hmm. If you want to learn things, video is totally inefficient compared to text - goes at speed of speech and loads of waste information (: There were discussions relevant to your questions in pf. https://www.physicsforums.com/threads/adding-a-huge-electric-charge-to-a-black-hole.911084/...- Ilythiiri

High School Adding a huge electric charge to a black hole?
Thread is not closed, so (: Among fuzzy questions about BH's, most frustrating for me is charge part. High School Temperature of a black hole....observed from the singularity
Singularity is not a type of star. It's a concept, approximately meaning here be dragons "our formulas/models don't work there".- Ilythiiri

Undergrad Thought experiment - water at the bottom of the sea
Yes there are. For safety in explosive environments though, not for energy storage aspects. Laminar flow - i meant when process/flow is stable, constant across the length of pipe. In essence, i hoped dissolved gas phase transition would give additional usable energy(idea from decompression...
