Ya, if they are inversely proportional to each other then as ε→0 ,∂→∞ (because ∂= a/ε) so rather than moving toward any point (say c) the interval around c ,where we want limit if it exists,will move away from c when ε is decreased so i guess ε and ∂ can never be inversely...- Inhsdehkc

While solving problems regarding Epsilon-delta definition of limit from my textbook i found that every answer was like ε= a×∂,where a was any constant.Is it necessary that ε should always be directly proportional to ∂ for limit to exist?? I have already mentioned that the events are simultaneous in X frame(sorry if it wasn't clear). But how will Y predicts that both events are simultaneous in X frame as he will see that X is moving towards event red with same velocity v relative to him??- Inhsdehkc
