High School How strong is gravity in the center of the earth?
I'm not to informed on this material, but I thought that Newtons theorems have been pretty completely superseded by Einsteins. Under general relativity gravity is defined by the curvature of space-time by a massive object. Thereby all of the Earth's mass should compound the indentation of space...- jacoblost

Hmm... Somehow, I really don't know how this happens, I think I completely misunderstood the OPs question. Sorry. You're correct. Somehow I understood that both discs were spinning opposite each other and still spinning relative to someone observing. I didnt see the OPs clarification that...- jacoblost

Real world example of relativistic effects: GPS satellites must be corrected for time dilation do to their relative velocity to someone using a GPS device on the earth.
