MHB Integration by Parts for Cosine Squared: Is My Approach Correct?
Greetings :) Well I wanted to seek help if my solution is on the right path, given as follows: 1) $$ \int cos ^2x dx $$ So my solution follows like this: u = cos^2x du = 1/2 (1+cos(2x)) v = x [math]dv = dx$$ but I've stuck when its in the $$u.v - \int v.du$$... -

MHB Derivation Application in Differential Calculus, verification question problem.
by using implicit difference where the -200ft/min is the numerator and the 100 ft is th denominator hence the answer is -1/2 pi ft ^ 3min. -

MHB Derivation Application in Differential Calculus, verification question problem.
Greetings everyone in MHB. :) Well I've just created a thread to just verify if my answer is correct. On a simple problem that using implicit differentiation. A cylindrical tank of radius 10 ft is having drained with water at the rate of 200 f^3/ min. How fast is the height of water changed... -

MHB Finding the equation of parabola
Greetings, I‘m trying to analyze the given of directrix x = -1, axis y = 2, and latus rectum as 2 I believe there‘s two possibility equations. I‘m not sure for finding the vertex since I got between ( -.5, 0) and origin itself.- jamescv31

MHB Additional intercept form problems.
I'm not sure on how the "invert and multiply" works. $$x/1/3 + y/2/5 = 1 x/5 + y/6 =1 [/math] I made like a cross multiplication it becomes [Math] 6x + 5y = 30$$ then made an LCD to obtain the- jamescv31

Here's my progress, in letter a) is it an M as slope only? not the whole equation? because the answer of my M is 2. Then on letter B my equation answers as $$6x+5y-30=0$$?- jamescv31
