Please don't start by saying there is no such thing as th best text or the most rigiorus text about anthing. I simply mean like we know Apostol's text fo calculus friedberg's or Hoffman's text on linear agebra Rudin's analysis text and ... what's the one about relativity? As far as I've googled...- JayC

Undergrad Linear algebra by Friedberg or Hoffman and Kunez?
I need the most rigourous text on linear algebra and I've been advised to buy one of these but I don't know the differences and which is the best one (I think the one that covers more topics and is more rigorous would be the one) but if you think there is a more rigourous book on linear algebra...- JayC

Graduate What is an appropriate route to learn analysis?
Thanks guys 4 the info. I took into consideration your suggestions but I saw a lot of praise for baby rudin so I find a used copy and i decided to go though it. Its hard but enjoyable and I recommend to everyone. -

Can anyone give an outline of analysis with its subdivisions and the best books in that division? This is what I've come up with so far: 1- Principles of mathematical analysis by.W.Rudin 2- Real and complex analysis by.W.Rudin 3- Functional analysis by.W.Rudin
