Graduate Expanding Universe vs. Shrinking Matter
The big blob, the big bang, call it what you will. It would all look exactly the same when observed from within the event. A singularity explodes intoa dense cloud of matter so thick that light cannot travel through it until it futher dissipates (universe expands or matter shrinks) and... -

Graduate Expanding Universe vs. Shrinking Matter
Dark matter, dark energy are things that have been proposed to support an expansion model. but I don't believe these are required to explain a shinking matter model. if you consider the shrinkage occurs as a result of lost 'base energy' (for lack of a better term) at a constant rate universaly. -

Graduate Size of universe at Big Bang without space?
Is the big bang possibly like virtual particles occurring in a vacum? So then space has always existed but without something happening within it, scales of distance and time are impossible to measure from within. This might also account for the distinct lack of observable antimatter in our... -

Graduate Why is it so accepted that matter falls into black holes?
there is nothing inside a black hole. at the event horizon matter is converted to zero point energy and ceases to exist as real mass.- jdt73

Graduate Expanding Universe vs. Shrinking Matter
I think the theory of universal shrinkage has huge merit. Rather than getting stuck on the rudmenary 'mechanics' of what wolud have to take place to particles etc for this theory to work, you need to down to the very base of all particles I guess we might be talking about super string theory...
