How to Calculate Net Force for an Object
I just realized that upon copying and pasting my work, the exponents were just copied as normal numbers. The first equation is actually a^2 = 10^2 + 8^2, sorry for the confusion if caused.- jesstryin

How to Calculate Net Force for an Object
Homework Statement Calculate the net force acting on each object indicated in the diagrams. Show your work. Homework Equations a2 = b2 + c2 tanO = opposite/adjacent C2 = a2 + b2 – 2abCosC sina/A=sinb/B=sinc/C The Attempt at a Solution I attached the diagram below, it...- jesstryin

Position-time graph made with info from a velocity time graph
Thanks! I am done making the position-time graphs but need help with the rest of the question. They ask me to record the distance for each route. I know distance = speed X time, but I only have the time, not the speed (the velocity is different from speed I think). Can you tell me what equation...- jesstryin

Position-time graph made with info from a velocity time graph
Homework Statement I have been given three velocity-time graphs, and have been asked to use the data from these to create position-time graphs. Each graph represent a route that generally goes south. Changes in direction to go east or west and gradual changes in velocity and time to stop at...- jesstryin

Help with Vectors: Calculating Displacement, Speed & Velocity
So, is the answer for displacement 26.4 km N 54.9 degrees E ? Or is it 26.4 km E 54.9 degrees N ? I think it is the former, but I am not sure. Thank you for all the help I appreciate it!- jesstryin

Help with Vectors: Calculating Displacement, Speed & Velocity
Homework Statement Hi everyone, my problem is this: Darryl drives his load of tomatoes 14.0 km [E], 6.0 km [N], 12.0 km [ N 15° E], and then 2.0 km [N 65° E]. This takes him 42 minutes. a) Calculate Darryl's distance and displacement. Draw a diagram and show your work. b) Calculate...- jesstryin
