Time Snap: Can Physics Make It Sci-Fi?
You could have it be a form of amnesia where the protagonist permanently forgets the past 20 years without any sort of time travel. Undergrad Dropped objects hitting the ground at the same time?
Given any difference is due to the Earth accelerating towards the object, wouldn't both objects still hit the ground at exactly the same time (if dropped side by side) because the Earth's acceleration would be towards both objects, not just the heavier one? -

For number 3: With 1000 (or any even number) sect members, start with the person one place on from yourself (ie. if members numbered 1-1000 clockwise starting with you as #1, then have #2 die first). Graduate How could the big bang create time?
If there was no time before the big bang then how did it happen and how could time be created if there was was nothing to make it?
