Undergrad Why Does Wormhole Travel Take Longer Than a 'Regular' Path?
Thanks. It does make a lot of sense what you wrote. I hope that one day we will understand better what really are the laws ruling the most fascinating things in the known Universe, so to have a clear picture within the correct model.- John Morax

Undergrad Why Does Wormhole Travel Take Longer Than a 'Regular' Path?
Thanks for the reply. I am not a physicist neither I ever went to Uni for the matter , so it is difficult for me to follow this reasoning through. You are right in saying that E-R bridges are not traversable, being tiny as they are. But how about 2 entangled black holes? Wouldn't there be a...- John Morax

Undergrad Why Does Wormhole Travel Take Longer Than a 'Regular' Path?
Hi! I've just read some articles about the fact that wormhole travel would be slower then taking a "regular space time path" between two hypothetical black holes. This stunned me as I always thought the Einstein - Rosen Bridge would be connecting two distant points in space in a more direct...- John Morax

Undergrad What is causing those patterns on the glass?
Thank you everybody for the explanations. There must be impurities distributed on the glass and traces of chemicals from the dishwasher. I do also understand clearly that the principle of least action is at work. ...still such a cool pattern is it? It looks like the estuary of a river. Thanks...- John Morax

Undergrad What is causing those patterns on the glass?
I couldn't come up with a satisfying explanation myself so I figured this is where I might find an answer.. I have been drinking smooth yogurt of this glass, after I drunk it I left the glass on the side and after few minutes this pattern appeared on the inside of the glass. I know it comes...- John Morax
