What is the Effect of Connecting a Load on the Polarity of Induced Voltage?
Homework Statement This is seriously going to drive me insane. I know that a time changing B field produces a curling E field. For case #1, I have an open circuited loop with a B field increasing out of the page. This should create a polarity indicated in my picture. I hook up a load...- johnstamos

Phase Shift and Time Shift - Fourier Transform
Homework Statement I'm trying to relate phase shift and time shift Fourier Transformers Homework Equations x(t-t_0) → e^(jwt0)X(jw) The Attempt at a Solution I've attached a picture of my work. I'm a bit confused as to how I would be able to make that simplification towards the end...- johnstamos

Is a System Causal if the Output Anticipates the Input?
yeah not the best english student! basically if the system has input u[n] and output cos[n], then is that system causal? Because the output has values for n<=0 whereas the input only has values for n>=0. Therefore the output is anticipating the input? That's bascially my question.- johnstamos

Is a System Causal if the Output Anticipates the Input?
Hey guys, having a little trouble understanding whether or not a system is causal or not. I d'nt think this classifies as homework; at least I hope not. Basically I'm confused as to how you would go about determining whether or not a system is causal. For example, say any function x[n] =...- johnstamos
