    Yikes. I went to look on the internet now and different sources say multiple things. Maybe because it's a convex lens it should be 1/F = 1/V + 1/U ?

    1/V - 1/U = 1/F is the formula right? Where V is the distance of the image from the centre of the lens, U is the distance of the object of the centre of the lens and F is the focal length of the lens.
