Approximating sin13 with Taylor Series using TI84 (n=150)
Homework Statement approximate sin13 by using the Taylor series using the TI84. Add for n=150 Homework Equations the infinite sums for sinx is ((-1)^n)(x^(2n+1)/(2n+1)!) The Attempt at a Solution I'm new to programming so i don't have any idea on where to start. I was...- kakashi1027

Low RPM high Torque Motor with enough power to rotate 30 pounds?
Hi, I'm working on an engineering project and I need to get a 30pound base to rotate at speeds between 6 rotations per hour and possibly 1 rotation per hour. Does anyone know where to get such a motor, or if it is even possible? Can anyone think of a better more efficient way of doing this...- kakashi1027

Undergrad Can Gravity Be Manipulated in a Science Fair Project?
Hi, I found another project done at home, so its not "impossible" to do at home. http://www.fourmilab.ch/gravitation/foobar/ and I was wondering if that instrument Lojzek was talking about is common among colleges, and if there are any colleges in the Los Angeles area with that instrument...- kakashi1027

Undergrad Can Gravity Be Manipulated in a Science Fair Project?
Hi, thanks for the replys. If I were to get in hold of the instrument, is there anything that I can change to make this project "stand out" from other projects? thanks!- kakashi1027

Undergrad Can Gravity Be Manipulated in a Science Fair Project?
Hi, I am currently thinking of a topic for my science fair project, and I was thinking about calculating the effect of gravity between two masses. The first mass(most likely lead or some other dense material) will be taped/glued to an bar with minimal mass, such as styrofoam or thin plastic...- kakashi1027
