Undergrad Supermassive Black Hole Sings for Its Supper: Scientific American
This wave is coming from the edge of the black hole? So there is a point where matter can escape. This must be similar to the images of a black hole venting. The force of the excess matter being shifted aside must be greater then the force drawing the rest in.- kikuchiyo

Undergrad Supermassive Black Hole Sings for Its Supper: Scientific American
I'm not in any way qualified to comment on black holes, but it was my understanding that nothing could escape its grasp, including light. (hence the black hole) So what gives, how can it emanate sound waves?- kikuchiyo

Represent the concept of Time best?
The graphics repeat but only to keep the file size down. You should consider only one cycle of the animation. Animation B. builds on top of the older tiles. So they overlap not replace.- kikuchiyo

Represent the concept of Time best?
My original thoughts behind example B. was, what if time overlapped allowing a bit of the past to show through if you could look at it flat. Instead of the traditional linear explanation (A.) Being a graphic designer I'm forced to think about these things in a visual manner.- kikuchiyo
