Undergrad Sterile neutrino and the early universe?
Is it correct to say, being right-handed is one of the properties of sterile neutrinos, or there may exist both right- and left- handed sterile neutrinos?- kimmm

Undergrad Sterile neutrino and the early universe?
So the thing I understand form your respond, you mean for any epoch of early universe there is a special kind of interpreration for the existence of sterile neutrinos? for example if we consider the neutrino decoupling epoch, how we can explain them, and actually does it depend on the mass of we...- kimmm

Graduate Understanding Chi-Squared Plots & CP Violation Ranges
Would you please help me to understand the chi-squared plot the third plot in the bellow list. How can I relate the cp violation ranges to the 3 and 5 sigma? (http://inspirehep.net/record/1473193/plots)- kimmm

Undergrad Why do neutrinos oscillate if they are massless?
Thanks for the reply. Why do we never heard the masses of each mass eigenstates like nu_1= x,nu_2=y and so on,but just the differences of mass squared? I'd it because of the lack information we have, and later by the datas improvemen's we can find them?- kimmm

Undergrad Why do neutrinos oscillate if they are massless?
So we will never know the exact masses of neutrinos(flavor ones) , as they define by superposition of states? but just the mass eigenstates by the improvements of experiments, the normal hierarchy or inverted I mean. is that right?- kimmm

Undergrad Why do neutrinos oscillate if they are massless?
thanks for the reply but still I do not understand the quantum phenomena,so how the superposition is defined by PMNS matrix, and if we know the values of the matrix elements we can not find the definite masses, I mean by mathematics, can you help me to understand how a particle can not have a...- kimmm

Undergrad Why do neutrinos oscillate if they are massless?
Can I ask a question about the mass eigenstates and flavor eigenstates? the thing that I understand is that mass eigenstates do not oscillate but the flavors do,and the flavor eigenstates are the superposition of mass eigenstates, and they relate together with a unitary transformation matrix...- kimmm

Undergrad MiniBooNE results at 6.1 sigma: Potential evidence for sterile neutrinos
I understand, and the reason that long baseline experiments could not see any result about sterile neutrinos, is because in their baseline and their energy ranges the feature of the sterile neutrinos could not affect the probabilities of neutrino oscillation?- kimmm

Undergrad MiniBooNE results at 6.1 sigma: Potential evidence for sterile neutrinos
It is a very naive and basic question, but I just get confused, that all the neutrinos are like that, that they do not exist at some points, or just for sterile neutrinos? if for others also then how we can say we have a muon neutrino beams or electron neutrinos observed by their interactions?- kimmm

Undergrad MiniBooNE results at 6.1 sigma: Potential evidence for sterile neutrinos
Is this interpretation correct? LSND experimet observed and excess number of electron neutrinos,so by considering a sterIle neutrino we can explain that the muon neutrinos oscillate 5o sterile neutrinos and then theses sterile neutrinos oscillate to electron neutrinos in the short baseline...- kimmm

The mass eigenstates are the HamiltonIan eigenstates, but what about the flavour eigenstates, which operator's eigenstates they are?- kimmm
