Why Are Unqualified Science Teachers Prevalent in US High Schools?
I have actually had Chi as my high school physics teacher, and I would just like to say that his class was extremely interesting, taught very well, and made me want to study it further in college. Most of the people taking his class did genuinely care, and I'll have you know that it would have...- lah214

How Does Community College Enhance Your Understanding of Physics?
I'm also majoring in physics in college, I start next year though. I'm scared it's going to be really tough. I do well in physics classes but not math.- lah214

Can You Master the Art of Cow Chip Throwing?
So, I have to do a two page essay on a sport for my gym class (I don't know why). It has to be an official sport, but I don't want to do something like soccer or basketball. Whats the most ridiculous sport you've heard of?- lah214

Programs Anyone here ever do or is doing a double major?
I'm going to school next year and I'm thinking about majoring in physics too. I haven't decided yet though. I took honors physics at my high school and I LOVED it! It was soo interesting, homework was actually fun! But now I'm in the AP class, and it's rediculously hard to understand. The AP...- lah214

What do You See? Brain Game Test - News.com.au
This is so weird! I could see it going both ways, but I always see it going clockwise first. I can't figure out how it works, and I can't just pick which way I want to see it; I have to look away or just stare at it for a long time for it to switch directions. It's so confusing though!- lah214

Should a student correct a teacher?
If she's a good teacher she shouldn't get offended. The best teachers I've had are the ones that love it when people correct them.- lah214

Smart or Attractive? Biology's Debate on Selection
haha, its not like who your "mate" is will actually depend on this question. Its like would you rather be burned to death, or drown? Obviously you wouldn't actually WANT either of these things to happen to you, its just a tough question that makes you think, haha.- lah214

Jobs of the Past: What Will Be Gone in a Few Decades?
So I was thinking, there are probably a lot of professions that won't be around in a few decades. For example, the mail man. A lot of mail is sent over the internet anymore, so sooner or later we might not need mail men. A milk man used to be a common job a long time ago, but milk is no longer...- lah214
