Quantum Looking for good book on Molecular Electronics
Looking for a good book on moletronics that is priced reasonably. This is a very niche subject and I doubt many people have gotten into it. It is basically how molecules form to create various electronic components. Any suggestions?- Lahearle

Undergrad How can I estimate the K force constant for bond types without special tools?
Hi I'm trying to throw together a cool chart, I need the K constant so I can divide K/U to get the CM-1 measurement of every element for every bond type. I don't have any special tools for this, no force gauges. Does anyone have any idea how to at least roughly get an accurate depiction of...- Lahearle

Please Help with bonding frequencies
I also have found that dividing the (100Mil/1)/wavelength in cm will give the wavenumber per CM after this calculation so that one can get the exact wavenumber around a single atom. -
Please Help with bonding frequencies
v = 2piC/1 * Square(K/u) where c is the speed of light in cm/s. Already solved this by the way, K is force and u is u/1 = M(a)/1 + M(b)/1 (apply to the entire elemental table) force being the electro force *( mass * acceleration ) By the way bonds do exist in isolation, I don't know where... -
Please Help with bonding frequencies
Hi I need all the bonding frequencies for all the elements in the human body, IE: carbon-carbon single bond frequency of 1300 cm - 1. It is very important to have the single, double and triple bonds because I am doing something that will require them all. It would also be helpful if someone... -

Trying to make a kiln
0.3 W m-1 k-1 past 1000 celsius jumps to 3 W I have probably less than one third a meter of total area so that makes it roughly 600 degrees loss? So I need roughly 1875c or (1200x1)/(0.8x0.800) where 1200 is wattage * 1 in seconds / Grams * specific heat?- Lahearle

Trying to make a kiln
Also the formula Td = (Pxt)/(MxC) read that 1200 watts at 1 gram = 1350celcius, is this a reliable formula?- Lahearle

Trying to make a kiln
Trying to make a kiln and it needs to be "tiny" Plugging this into a regular american wall outlet and I can't have it pulling 10KW. I need to heat it to 2600 F and I am using kanthal(FeChrAL) wire. The specific heat at max temperature is supposedly 0.800jg/c I currently have a wire wound...- Lahearle
