Discover a Game-Changing Sticky Expanding Liquid for Trapping Objects
Hi I am new to physics and this website so forgive me if I am n the wrong section and kind of slow. Would it be possible to make some kind of sticky expanding liquid for trapping things in. I am thinking of a combination of quicksand and glue. This would be something that would be in a pit or...- Lancer2death

Magnets or EMF in car bumpers to protect from fender bender
Haha thanks for naming everything for me! I definitely understand now. Man I feel so satisfied I have been working on this idea for months but i hadn't found the right people or books to help me. Would have taken me more months to solve this equation myself!- Lancer2death

Magnets or EMF in car bumpers to protect from fender bender
sorry that looks like a typo from my phone :( I ment to say "dramatically decelerate"...in any event...dramatically means slow the car down to about 5mph. I have the force of the car , using wolframp alpha, i came up with 30,848 Newtons of force. so I guess my next question would be. How do i...- Lancer2death

Magnets or EMF in car bumpers to protect from fender bender
Hi I am new to the forums. I am sure I have found the right place for help with an idea I have been working on for a while. First off please forgive my lack of physics knowledge. What amount of magnetic force would I need to stop or dramaticallyjust deccelarate a standard size 5000lbs car going...- Lancer2death

Automotive How much magnetic power is needed to stop a slow car.
Hello everyone, I need to figure out how much magnetic force is required to stop a car going 15 mph, weighing 5071 lbs, at an angular velocity of 1rad/s, with a force of 30,848 Newton’s, and accelerating at13.41 m/s^2. In addition, what would the size(dimensions) of this magnet have to be...- Lancer2death
